Our school’s House System is designed to foster teamwork, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging among students. Every child is placed into a House, creating smaller communities within the larger school where students of different ages work together toward shared goals. Through House activities, competitions, and service projects, children learn the value of cooperation, leadership, and mutual support. This system not only builds school spirit but also helps students develop important life skills such as communication, responsibility, and respect for others, ensuring that every child feels included and motivated to contribute to the success of their House.
Each of our Houses has been carefully designed to reflect the school’s core values, drawing inspiration from the traditions of ancient Greece. Ambition is embodied by the culture of the Athenians, celebrated for their pursuit of knowledge, creativity, and progress. Manners connect to the culture of the Spartans, whose discipline, respect, and sense of community underpin strong character. Achievement is linked to the culture of the Corinthians, renowned for their innovation and success in trade, architecture, and the arts. Finally, Choice and Opportunity represents the spirit of Olympia, where individuals came together to compete, celebrate diversity, and embrace the freedom of choice. These foundations not only give our Houses a rich cultural identity but also provide meaningful ways for students to live out our values every day.
