How to apply:
If you have moved address, just arrived in Derby or if you wish to change your child’s school, or apply for a Year 7 place starting in September 2023, please apply following the below link:

You can contact us before making an application to find if we have places available in your child’s year group.
If a place is available and there is no waiting list then a place will be offered to the applicant. If more applications are received than there are places available then applications will be refused and will be ranked in accordance with the over subscription criteria for the relevant year. Applications that are refused are entitled to appeal to an independent appeal panel.
Year 7 September 2024 Intake
How to apply:
If you want to apply for the intake year of a secondary school starting in September 2024, you can make an application from 14 September 2023. The closing date for online applications is 31 October 2023. If the closing date has passed you can still apply however any applications made after the deadline date will be classed as late and will be considered after all on-time applications.

You can also apply by telephone on 01332 642350. Alternatively, you can download an application form and return it to Derby City Council or request a paper application form to be sent to you using the same telephone number. For September 2024 entry, the National Offer day is 1st March 2024.
