The compulsory school day at Alvaston Moor Academy runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The total length of the compulsory school week is 32 hours and 30 minutes. This includes tutor time, lessons and social times (breaks), but does not include after-school activities, clubs or detentions.

Students should be on the academy site and ready for tutor time by 8:30am.
After-school activities, interventions and enrichment opportunities may take place beyond the end of the compulsory school day.
