Year 10 Careers
Year 10 marks the beginning of our focused Post-16 preparation, supporting students to start thinking carefully about what comes next for them. Throughout the year, students take part in employer talks and sessions led by Post-16 providers, giving them insight into a wide range of future pathways. Targeted interventions ensure individual students receive the guidance they need to make confident, informed decisions. A key highlight of Year 10 is our Work Experience programme, which this year saw 57 students placed across an impressive range of settings—from pharmacies and primary schools to Rolls-Royce, hairdressers, engineering firms and more. These real-world experiences help students develop confidence, independence, and a clearer sense of their future ambitions.
